Need to stop or resume provider text messages? Follow the instructions below to learn how to update your communication preferences in AfterSchool HQ. 00:05: This article explains how to manage your profile settings and update your password 00:09: in AfterSchool HQ. 00:06: In this guide, you'll learn how to opt in or out of provider text message 00:09: communications in AfterSchool HQ. 00:13: Click "Profile" from the left-side menu to open your account settings. 00:18: Scroll down to the "Opt-in to Provider Text Messages" section. 00:23: Click the question mark icon to view additional information about text message 00:28: notifications. 00:30: Click here to access your profile preferences and customization options. 00:31: Select "Yes" to receive provider text messages or "No" to opt out. 00:37: Click "Update" to save your communication preferences. 00:41: You've now successfully updated your communication preferences in AfterSchool 00:45: HQ. Opting out of text messages does not automatically disable email communications. **Q: Can I opt back in later?** **A:** Yes. Simply return to your Profile settings and select **“Yes”** again. **Q: Why am I not receiving text messages?** **A:** Possible reasons include: - Your communication settings are set to **“No”** - Your phone number is incorrect - Your mobile carrier blocked messages - You previously opted out directly from text messages **Q: Do I need to save my changes?** **A:** Yes.
