How to Send Payment Links
Learn how to send payment links to families and understand what parents see when completing payment for an activity.
Payment links allow providers to quickly send families a direct payment request for an activity registration. Families will receive an email with a secure link where they can log in and complete payment online.

1. Access Activity Center
From the left-hand menu, click “Activity Center.”

2. Open Extracurricular Activities
Click “Extracurricular Activities” to view your list of activities and programs.

3. Select an Activity
Open the specific activity you would like to manage payments for.

💡 Tip: You can send payment links for individual students or multiple students at the same time.
4. Open the Students Tab
Click “Students” to view all enrolled participants for the activity.

5. Select Students
Check the box next to the student or students you want to send payment links to.

💡 Tip: You can bulk-send payment links to multiple families at once to save time.
6. Send Payment Link
Click “Send Payment Link” to begin the payment email process.

7. Review Confirmation Window
A confirmation window will appear showing which families will receive the payment email.

💡 Tip: Always double-check the selected families before sending payment requests.
8. Confirm Email Sending
Click “Send Email(s)” to send the payment link email.

9. Finish the Process
Click “Done” to return to the activity dashboard.

10. Parent View: What Families See
Families will receive an email containing a secure payment link for the activity.

💡 Tip: Parents should check their spam or junk folder if they do not see the email in their inbox.
11. Parent Login & Payment Access
Parents will click the payment link, log into their AfterSchool HQ account, and proceed to payment.

13. Give Consent & Pay
Once logged in, parents can click “Give Consent & Pay” to complete the payment process.

💡 Tip: Families can complete payment using approved online payment methods such as Debit, Credit & ACH.

Q: Why did a parent not receive the payment email?
A: Ask the family to:
- Check spam/junk folders
- Confirm the email address on file is correct
- Verify they are using the correct AfterSchool HQ account

A: Yes. You can select multiple students and send payment links in bulk.
