Add a New Child to Your Existing Family Account

Are you trying to add another child to your family account? AfterSchool HQ makes it easy to register multiple children under one account, no need to create a new one!

Children can only be added to your family account by registering them for an activity.

To add a new child, just register them for any available program through your existing family account, it’s quick and easy!

      1. Browse Activities

      Click “Browse Activities”. If you have another organization’s URL, you can open it and follow the same steps.

      2. Select an Activity

      Click “View All” to see the complete list of available activities. Next, click on “View Details” to review the activity information.

      3. Start Registration

      Click “Register” to begin the enrollment process and choose “Add New Participant”.

      Fill out the registration form with the required information and click “Save and Continue” through each section.

      4. Confirm Registration

      Add your e-signature, then click “Confirm Registration” to finish.

      Once completed, your new child’s profile will automatically be added to your family account.

      💡 Tip: You can repeat this process anytime to register additional children under the same account.

      5. Review or Update the Newly Added Profile

      If you’d like to confirm the new profile, click “View Account” and select the “Family” tab. You’ll now be able to see the new student profile listed under your account.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      Q: Do I need to create a new account for each child?
      A: Nope! You can use the same family account to register all your children.  Just select “Add New Participant” during registration to add another child.

      Q: Can I add a child without registering them for an activity?
      A: At this time, children can only be added by registering them for an activity. Once registered, their profile will automatically appear in your family account.

      Q: I already registered one child. How do I register a second one?
      A: Go to your dashboard, click “Activities,” then choose an activity and click “Register” When prompted, select “Add New Participant” to enter your second child’s information.

      Q: How can I update my child’s information after registration?
      A: You can edit your child’s profile anytime by clicking “View Account,” then going to the “Family” section.

      Q: Where can I see all my children’s activities?
      A: You can view each child’s schedule and enrolled activities by clicking “Activities” on your dashboard.

      Q: I don’t see my child’s profile after registering. What should I do?
      A: Make sure you completed all registration steps and clicked “Confirm Registration”. If the profile still doesn’t appear, try refreshing your page or contact our Support Team via email.
